New holes in your Columbus lawn every morning? We trap the armadillo with steel cage traps and release it far from your home.
Why us?
Your technician finds the burrows and the paths the armadillo travels. The inspection and estimate are free, and you get the price before any work starts.
Armadillos are strong enough to wreck light traps, so we use reinforced steel cage traps. We move the traps as needed until we catch the armadillo. Then we release it in a remote area.
Most armadillo calls get a technician out the same day or the next. Our wildlife technicians are licensed in Georgia and Alabama, and we've trapped armadillos around Columbus since 2009.
Armadillos feed after dark, so most homeowners find the damage in the morning. Look for shallow holes about 3 to 5 inches wide and plants pulled up by the roots. A larger burrow by a slab or sidewalk means the armadillo may be living there.
Stacey C.Oct 2026 Very customer friendly, listens intently to any issues that may have come up since last treatment. Works quickly and efficiently.
Every armadillo job starts with a free inspection and a price before any work begins.

An armadillo tearing up the yard? We set professional steel cage traps and remove the armadillo once it's caught.
A burrow next to your foundation or driveway? Burrowing there can crack concrete and damage pipes, so we trap the armadillo.
Shallow holes and uprooted plants in the beds? We trap the armadillo doing the digging so the damage stops.
Worried about what happens to the armadillo? We release trapped armadillos in a remote area instead of killing them.
Armadillos coming back to the same spot? We close off the openings under porches, decks and sheds.

D.J. S.Oct 2026 James notifies me the day before he is coming. I appreciate this courtesy, because it gives me a heads up before I am notified by the cameras that someone is in my yard. He sprays all of the designated areas each time he comes. It must be working, because I have not had any bugs inside of the house.
RickeyOct 2026 The service is always done on time and on the day they say there will be at the house. If we have questions they always take the time to talk to us. Great job today.

No. Armadillos can carry leprosy, and people can catch it by handling them. They also have long, sharp claws for digging. Leave the trapping and handling to a licensed technician.
Look for holes about 3 to 5 inches wide and 1 to 3 inches deep, plus uprooted plants. Burrow entrances are larger, about 7 to 10 inches across. You often find them next to a slab, sidewalk or shrub.
Armadillos are strong enough to wreck light traps, so we use reinforced professional models. They are also hard to lure, so your technician may need to move the traps a few times. Your technician will tell you what to expect for your yard.
