Why Us

Why Fort Valley Homeowners Call Jarrod's for Wildlife Removal

Same-Day and Next-Day Service

We work to get a wildlife technician to your Fort Valley home the same day you call, or the next. Our technicians serve Fort Valley as part of our Middle Georgia routes. When you call, we book the first open visit in your area. Bat jobs take more than one visit, so we schedule those with you.

Humane Removal, Then Sealed Out

Raccoons and opossums that wander in from the pecan groves are caught in humane live traps. Bats get one-way doors at the roofline so they leave on their own. After the last one leaves, we seal the soffit gaps, vents and foundation holes they used.

Free Inspection and Upfront Price

The technicians on Fort Valley wildlife jobs hold Georgia licenses. They walk your house, shed and pump house without charge and write up an estimate. They name the price before a single trap goes out, and you decide whether the work goes ahead.

Wildlife Specialists Since 2009

When Jarrod's began in 2009, wildlife removal was the job, and our technicians know Middle Georgia farm country. Armadillos favor the loose, sandy ground around Peach County orchards, and snakes trail mice into barns and well houses. Every inspection here checks for both.

Kali F.Jul 2020

I would recommend Jarrods to anyone looking for pest or wildlife control! They are extremely responsive, helpful and timely. Every time I’ve called, I’ve always received a return call and service in the same day. If there is ever an issue, they are sure to make it right. Bobby really went above and beyond for my family, even after hours, and we are so appreciative! Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Kaili C.Apr 2018

I cannot even begin to praise Jarrods. My cat was stuck behind my water heater and after calling the fire department and animal control they gave me their number. He was super fast getting here, he was patient with me while I was in hysterics over my cat and the most important part is he was gentle with my cat. He removed him from behind the water heater and Mr Binx is back to his old self. I can’t thank them enough!!

James notifies me the day before he is coming. I appreciate this courtesy, because it gives me a heads up before I am notified by the cameras that someone is in my yard. He sprays all of the designated areas each time he comes. It must be working, because I have not had any bugs inside of the house.

RickeyOct 2026

The service is always done on time and on the day they say there will be at the house. If we have questions they always take the time to talk to us. Great job today.

Brian has service my home for years now, he is fantastic and on spot. Always ready to answer question. He will keep you updated on new equipment and products used. Thank you Jarrod’s.

Every wildlife job starts with a free inspection and a price before any work begins. We also handle skunks, beavers and other nuisance animals.

  • Wildlife Control in Fort Valley, GA: Opossums Under Orchard Homes

    Opossums Under Orchard Homes

Houses beside the GA-96 peach orchards often have an opossum denning under the porch or in the crawl space. Dropped fruit and pet food bring them close. Humane traps take care of the opossums, and then we block the foundation gaps they crawled through.

  • Critter Removal in Fort Valley, GA: Raccoons at Pecan Harvest

    Raccoons at Pecan Harvest

Each fall, raccoons fill up on pecans in the groves near Zenith Mill Road, then raid trash cans and attics nearby. We set traps along the routes they take and seal any roof vent or soffit they pried open.

  • Wildlife Trapping in Fort Valley, GA: Armadillos in Sandy Yards

    Armadillos in Sandy Yards

Peach County's sandy ground is easy digging. Armadillos root up lawns and garden beds after dark, hunting grubs. We place traps where their trails meet the yard and point out any burrow by the slab or under the porch steps.

  • Animal Removal in Fort Valley, GA: Snakes in Farm Sheds

    Snakes in Farm Sheds

Rat snakes and copperheads hunt the mice living in sheds, feed rooms and pump houses on Fort Valley's farm roads. We take the snake out, then close the openings under doors and around water pipes.

  • Wildlife Removal in Fort Valley, GA: Squirrels in Downtown Attics

    Squirrels in Downtown Attics

Older houses around Everett Square have wooden soffits and vents that weaken with years of weather. Gray squirrels chew through and nest over the ceiling. We trap the squirrels and cover each hole with metal they cannot chew.

  • Animal Control in Fort Valley, GA: Beavers in Farm Ponds

    Beavers in Farm Ponds

Ponds and ditches around the Peach County orchards draw beavers, which plug culverts and fell trees along the bank. Once we trap the beavers, we give you tips for keeping the culvert open and the bank trees standing.

Our Process

Our Wildlife Removal Process in Fort Valley

  1. Call For A Free Quote

Call and describe the signs. Tracks in the shed, a raided pile of pecans or thumping under the floor each mean a different animal. We book the earliest open slot with a licensed technician who covers Peach County.

  2. Free Inspection & Price

Your technician inspects the home, the outbuildings and the yard edge facing the orchard. On older downtown houses, animals often get in through a rotted soffit or an open foundation vent. Trapping starts only after you agree to the cost.

  3. Trapping & Sealing

We put traps along the animal's travel route and fit one-way doors for bats. We haul away every animal caught, then cover the entry with hardware cloth or flashing so the next opossum or squirrel finds it shut.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to Your Fort Valley Wildlife Removal Questions

Here is what Fort Valley homeowners ask us most.

What wildlife do you remove in Fort Valley?

Fallen fruit and nuts draw opossums and raccoons from the orchards into nearby yards. Armadillos dig in the sandy soil, and snakes hunt mice in barns, sheds and pump houses. Older homes in town give squirrels easy access to the attic. We remove raccoons, squirrels, bats, snakes, opossums, birds, armadillos, moles and voles.

How fast can you come out to Fort Valley?

We offer same-day and next-day wildlife visits in Fort Valley and across Peach County. Bat removal takes more than one visit, so we plan it with you. Call (706) 841-9912 for the first open time.

How do I keep opossums and raccoons out of my yard at harvest time?

Take away the free food. Pick up dropped peaches in summer and fallen pecans in autumn a few times a week. Feed pets indoors, or bring the bowls in before dark. If one has already moved in under the house, we inspect at no charge.

Is the snake in my Fort Valley shed dangerous?

Most shed snakes here are rat snakes hunting mice, and they are not venomous. Young rat snakes have blotches that can look like a copperhead, though, and copperheads do live in Peach County. Stay back, keep pets inside and call us to identify and remove it.

Do you handle wildlife at barns and outbuildings, or only homes?

Both. We work at houses and also at barns, sheds, pump houses and other outbuildings across Peach County. Inspections cost nothing, and we quote the work up front, whether the animal is under your porch or inside a feed room.
