A skunk under the porch or shed in Columbus is more than a smell problem. We trap it and close off the space so another one doesn't move in.
Why us?
A licensed wildlife technician finds where the skunk is denning and how it gets in. The inspection and estimate are free, and you get the price before any work starts.
We trap the skunk and remove it from your property. Then we close off the space under the deck, porch or shed so another skunk doesn't move in.
Most skunk calls get a technician out the same day or the next. Our wildlife technicians are licensed in Georgia and Alabama, and we've removed wildlife around Columbus since 2009.
A skunk stamps its front feet and raises its tail before it sprays. Back away slowly and keep pets inside. Small, cone-shaped holes in the lawn overnight often mean a skunk is digging for grubs.
Stacey C.Oct 2026 Very customer friendly, listens intently to any issues that may have come up since last treatment. Works quickly and efficiently.
Every skunk job starts with a free inspection and a price before any work begins.
A musky smell coming up through the floor? We find the den in the crawl space and trap the skunk out.
A hole dug next to the slab or under the deck? We check whether a skunk is living there.
Small holes in the lawn every morning? We find out whether a skunk or an armadillo is digging for grubs.
We set traps along the paths the skunk uses. Once it's caught, we remove it from your property.
Once the skunk is gone, we close off the gaps under decks, porches and sheds so another one doesn't move in.
Skunks coming back night after night? We point out the pet food, trash and other food that keeps drawing them in.

D.J. S.Oct 2026 James notifies me the day before he is coming. I appreciate this courtesy, because it gives me a heads up before I am notified by the cameras that someone is in my yard. He sprays all of the designated areas each time he comes. It must be working, because I have not had any bugs inside of the house.
RickeyOct 2026 The service is always done on time and on the day they say there will be at the house. If we have questions they always take the time to talk to us. Great job today.

Here is what Columbus homeowners ask us most.
Look for a musky smell, a hole dug under a deck, porch or foundation, and small holes in the lawn. Skunks come out at dusk and feed at night, so you may see one cross the yard after dark.
Skunks are one of the main animals that can carry rabies. Never touch or corner a skunk, even one that seems tame. If a person or pet is bitten, call a doctor or vet right away.
We don't recommend it. A trapped skunk can spray, and skunks can carry rabies. Our wildlife technicians know how to trap and handle a skunk safely.
Skunks dig small holes at night to find grubs and insects in the soil. Fewer grubs in the lawn means less food to draw them in.
It depends on where the skunk is living and how much needs to be closed off. The inspection and estimate are free, and you get the price before any work starts.
