Skunk Removal We work to get a wildlife technician to your Columbus home the same day you call, or the next. Our trucks leave our Kolb Avenue office every morning. We don't drive in from Atlanta or Montgomery, so a technician is usually already across town when you call. Bat jobs take more than one visit, so we schedule those with you.
We live-trap squirrels and raccoons in Columbus homes. For bats in Midtown attics, we fit one-way exits over their gaps. With every animal gone, we close the soffit holes, broken vent screens and roof gaps behind them.
Each of our wildlife technicians carries a Georgia license. Inspections are free anywhere in Columbus, from the Historic District downtown to Green Island Hills. You see the estimate and the price ahead of any trapping.
Jarrod's began trapping wildlife in Columbus in 2009, and we still work from our office on Kolb Avenue. Our technicians know the river corridor, the creeks that cut through town and the old houses animals go after first.

Jean C.Jul 2026 Robert was so nice. He sprayed all around the house and told me everything looked ok. I asked about the traps and he explained how they work. He was so polite. I highly recommend Jarrod’s for Sal their services.
Jacqueline F.May 2026 The Jarrod’s Wildlife Service team is professional, friendly and keeps you updated as services are being rendered.
Lacreia M.Mar 2026 For over 14 years of using various services with Jarrod’s Pest Control, I have had no complaints. I have always received friendly and professional service. Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Joshua after we noticed rat droppings in our garage. He came out, set traps, and by the next day the rats were caught. What I appreciated most is that even after the rats were immediately caught, they continued to follow up and conduct periodic checks before officially closing the job. Joshua did an excellent job, and I truly enjoyed our conversations. Prayerfully, we won’t see any more rats in the garage, but if we do, I will definitely contact Jarrod’s and request Joshua. Thank you to Jarrod’s Pest Control, Wildlife, and the entire staff for consistently providing excellent service. And a special thanks again to Joshua! NOTE: When answering the standard google questions, I pay an annual fee therefore the cost selected was not paid when services were rendered. Jarrod’s Pest Control and Wildlife has reasonable prices for the services they render. Mrs. Rawlins
M W.Feb 2026 Joshua did a fantastic job on the bird nest removal! He vacuumed and disinfected the area, eliminating the pesky birds from my porch. All Jarrod’s employees are professional, friendly, and thorough. They send a text 1-day prior and ensure everything is done carefully and correctly. Highly recommend Jarrod’s for all your pest control needs!
Thomas S.Feb 2026 Joshua came by the other day to set up traps. He made me feel like he took my concerns seriously.
Every wildlife job starts with a free inspection and a price before any work begins. We also handle skunks, beavers and other nuisance animals.
Many older Wynnton homes have open chimneys, and mother raccoons raise kits inside them each spring. Mother and kits come out together, so none are left behind. Once they are out, cap the chimney so other raccoons can't use the flue.
Peacock Woods and Dimon Circle homes are about a century old, with wood trim that softens and splits. Squirrels chew through it and build nests over the ceiling, sometimes near the wiring. We trap them and fasten metal over the hole.
The 1800s houses of the Columbus Historic District near the river have tall rooflines and aging vents. Bats roost behind loose trim and leave droppings piled below. We fit one-way exits once the pups can fly, then seal the roof.
Copperheads, rat snakes and water snakes live along Bull Creek and the green space beside the Riverwalk. Chasing mice and frogs, they turn up in garages, flower beds and under houses. We take the snake away and close the door gap or vent it used.
Wooded lots in North Columbus near Standing Boy Creek give armadillos cover by day. At night they root through lawns and beds for grubs. Traps set where their trails leave the woods catch them. Your technician also points out any den near the slab.
Raised porches and crawl spaces on Midtown homes near Weracoba Creek stay dry, so opossums den there. We trap them humanely, make sure no young are left and close the lattice or vent they slipped through.
Call our Kolb Avenue office and describe the noise. Thumping in a Wynnton chimney in spring and scratching in a Midtown attic at dusk call for different plans. We work to schedule your visit for today or tomorrow.
Your technician looks over the roof, chimney, attic and crawl space to find where the animal gets in. On homes near Lakebottom Park, the opening tends to be soft soffit wood or a torn gable vent screen. We quote the work before starting.
We trap along the animal's route and fit one-way exits for any bats. Every animal we trap leaves with us, and then we fasten metal over the opening. If a raccoon used the chimney, a cap is the best way to keep the next one out.

Columbus wildlife technicians start each morning at the Kolb Avenue office and reach every part of the city. They work the old attics of Midtown and the Historic District, the wooded lots of North Columbus and the homes along Bull Creek.

We handle wildlife calls in every part of Columbus, from Lakebottom and the historic homes of Wynnton to the newer streets of North Columbus. Our trucks also reach Green Island Hills and the neighborhoods near Fort Benning from our Kolb Avenue office.
In Wynnton, Peacock Woods and the Historic District, raccoons, squirrels and bats settle into older attics and chimneys. Homes along Weracoba Creek near Lakebottom Park see raccoons and opossums after dark. Up north near Standing Boy Creek and Lake Oliver, snakes, armadillos and coyotes come out of the woods.
Many homes in Midtown and Wynnton were built with wood soffits and gable vents that loosen with age. Bats and squirrels work through those gaps and settle in the attic. Raccoons follow the Chattahoochee and the wooded creeks into town and often den in chimneys.

Do not light a fire or bang on the flue. In spring it is often a mother raccoon with kits that are too small to climb out on their own. Book a free inspection with us. Once the chimney is empty, put a cap on it.
The Chattahoochee and its creeks give raccoons, opossums, snakes and beavers a protected path through the middle of Columbus. Homes near the Riverwalk, Bull Creek and Weracoba Creek sit right beside that path. Lidded trash cans and closed crawl space vents help.
Through late spring and most of the summer, mother bats are raising pups too young to leave the roost. Closing the gaps then would shut the pups in. We inspect now, confirm the bats and plan the exclusion for later, once the pups can fly.
