Why Us

Why Eufaula Homeowners Call Jarrod's for Wildlife Removal

Same-Day and Next-Day Service

We work to get a wildlife technician to your Eufaula home the same day you call, or the next. Eufaula is about an hour south of our Columbus office. We book Barbour County visits on set days, and we tell you the first open time when you call. Bat jobs take more than one visit, so we schedule those with you.

Humane Removal, Then Sealed Out

Raccoons and squirrels in Eufaula homes are caught in humane cage traps. In the old downtown attics, one-way exits let bats out and keep them from getting back. We then seal each attic gap, vent and soffit so the house stays shut.

Free Inspection and Upfront Price

An Alabama license backs each technician on our wildlife crew. We inspect and write the estimate at no charge. That holds whether you own an 1800s house on Randolph Avenue or a lake home by Old Creek Town Park. Work starts only once you approve the price.

Wildlife Specialists Since 2009

We started Jarrod's in 2009 to trap and remove wildlife, and lake country is familiar ground. Our technicians know the attic gaps on old Eufaula homes, and they can tell which shoreline snakes are dangerous and which are harmless.

Mr Squirrel decided he liked us enough to take up residence in our guest room and decided to brave the dining room to get a bite . I cornered him there but couldn’t coax him onto a box . Called Jarrod’s and Christian came and took him to a nice place in the woods ! Thank you , Christian for quick , professional service ! Thank you !

Great company to deal with! They handle our wildlife and termite bond. Also, the pest control treatment. When the guy comes to spray, he even sweeps the facia and soffits of our house for spider webs. Would highly recommend them!

Tim W.Jun 2023

Jarrod provides top notch service. We had a raccoon infestation in our attic, and Jarrod and his team(thank you Christian) have been extremely responsive in resolving our issue. Jarrod even came out on Friday night to remove a baby raccoon from our attic. Great family man providing excellent service. I will be using him for ongoing pest control service moving forward. Thank you Jarrod!

They are great. They found a fox in my backyard and were very gentle with the animal

Debbie H.Apr 2022

Called Jarrod's because my mom had snakes under her house in the back yard. He told me it would cost about $300.00 or he could just tell me how to catch the snakes myself and save me that money. I did what he suggested and my husband and I was able to catch one of the snakes. We put the trap out and waiting to catch the other one, we also caught about five baby snakes. The people there was nice too.

Chris P.Feb 2022

We had problems with squirrels. They had started to chew on the house. I counted 10 one evening. We called another place that promised to call us back. They did not. Similar thing with Jarrod's, we were told that squirrel guy would call us back and the next day he did. Squirrel guy from Jarrod set 3 traps in the yard and over a 11 day period, 9 squirrels were trapped. Squirrel guy told me that he releases them about 10 miles away. When a squirrel is trapped: During the week day call the office and they send somebody out to get it. On the weekend, call the office and write down the emergency number. Call it and the oncall person comes out.

  • Wildlife Control in Eufaula, AL: Bats in Historic District Attics

    Bats in Historic District Attics

  • Critter Removal in Eufaula, AL: Snakes Along the Docks

    Snakes Along the Docks

  • Wildlife Trapping in Eufaula, AL: Beavers in the Lake Coves

    Beavers in the Lake Coves

  • Wildlife Removal in Eufaula, AL: Squirrels in Downtown Rooflines

    Squirrels in Downtown Rooflines

Big shade trees hang over many older homes near downtown Eufaula. Gray squirrels cross the branches, gnaw into fascia boards and nest in the attic, sometimes beside the wiring. We trap them, then patch the entry with sheet metal and show you which branches to cut.

  • Animal Control in Eufaula, AL: Armadillos on the North End

    Armadillos on the North End

Homes on the north end of Eufaula, out toward the wildlife refuge, back onto fields and woods where armadillos feed. They dig up lawns overnight in search of grubs. Traps placed on their trails catch them. We also mark burrows near the foundation for you.

Our Process

Our Wildlife Removal Process in Eufaula

  1. Call For A Free Quote

Tell us what you are seeing. Droppings below a window, splashing by the dock at night or scratching overhead each hint at a different animal. Then we schedule the earliest open visit for Eufaula with a licensed technician.

  2. Free Inspection & Price

The technician checks the roofline, attic and crawl space. On lake lots, the dock and seawall get a look too. On historic homes, animals often slip in through old cornice trim or a missing vent screen. The quote comes before any work.

  3. Trapping & Sealing

We trap the animal humanely or fit a one-way bat exit, then remove what we catch. Next, we cover every opening with metal, so the next raccoon or squirrel that tries the same spot cannot reuse it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to Your Eufaula Wildlife Removal Questions

Here is what Eufaula homeowners ask us most.

What wildlife do you remove in Eufaula?

Lakefront yards give water snakes, cottonmouths and raccoons easy cover near docks and seawalls. Beavers cut shoreline trees in the coves. The older homes in the historic district have attic gaps that let in squirrels and bats. We remove raccoons, squirrels, bats, snakes, opossums, birds, armadillos, moles and voles.

How fast can you come out to Eufaula?

We offer same-day and next-day wildlife visits in Eufaula and across Barbour County. Bat removal takes more than one visit, so we plan it with you. Call (706) 841-9912 for the first open time.

How can I tell a cottonmouth from a water snake near my dock?

Often you can't, even from a few feet away. Treat every snake by the water as venomous. Do not try to catch or kill it. Keep children and pets back, note where it goes and call us. We remove it for you.

Is there a right time to remove bats from a historic Eufaula home?

There is. Mother bats raise their pups from late spring into summer, and the pups need several weeks before they can fly. After that, we fit one-way exits on the old trim and vents and seal them when the colony is gone.

Do you remove beavers from lake property?

Yes. We trap beavers that cut trees or block drains on lake lots around Eufaula. Wrapping wire around the trunks you want to keep slows the damage in the meantime. There is no fee for the inspection, and you approve the price before we place a single trap.
