Skunk Removal We work to get a wildlife technician to your Phenix City home the same day you call, or the next. Phenix City is a few minutes from our Columbus office across the Chattahoochee. Our technicians are licensed in Alabama, so crossing the state line is no problem. Bat jobs take more than one visit, so we schedule those with you.
Raccoons denning under Phenix City porches end up in live traps that do them no harm. Bats roosting in Girard and Summerville attics leave through one-way tubes that block the trip back. Then we close every opening they used, so no new animal moves in.
Jarrod's holds licenses in both Alabama and Georgia, so the river is no barrier. There is no charge to inspect and estimate a home in Ladonia, downtown or the Lee County part of town. You hear the cost before anything happens.
Jarrod's was founded for wildlife work in 2009, just over the river in Columbus. The technicians know how raccoons travel the Chattahoochee banks and which gaps squirrels and bats use on the oldest houses near downtown Phenix City.

Jean C.Jul 2026 Robert was so nice. He sprayed all around the house and told me everything looked ok. I asked about the traps and he explained how they work. He was so polite. I highly recommend Jarrod’s for Sal their services.
Jacqueline F.May 2026 The Jarrod’s Wildlife Service team is professional, friendly and keeps you updated as services are being rendered.
Lacreia M.Mar 2026 For over 14 years of using various services with Jarrod’s Pest Control, I have had no complaints. I have always received friendly and professional service. Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Joshua after we noticed rat droppings in our garage. He came out, set traps, and by the next day the rats were caught. What I appreciated most is that even after the rats were immediately caught, they continued to follow up and conduct periodic checks before officially closing the job. Joshua did an excellent job, and I truly enjoyed our conversations. Prayerfully, we won’t see any more rats in the garage, but if we do, I will definitely contact Jarrod’s and request Joshua. Thank you to Jarrod’s Pest Control, Wildlife, and the entire staff for consistently providing excellent service. And a special thanks again to Joshua! NOTE: When answering the standard google questions, I pay an annual fee therefore the cost selected was not paid when services were rendered. Jarrod’s Pest Control and Wildlife has reasonable prices for the services they render. Mrs. Rawlins
M W.Feb 2026 Joshua did a fantastic job on the bird nest removal! He vacuumed and disinfected the area, eliminating the pesky birds from my porch. All Jarrod’s employees are professional, friendly, and thorough. They send a text 1-day prior and ensure everything is done carefully and correctly. Highly recommend Jarrod’s for all your pest control needs!
Thomas S.Feb 2026 Joshua came by the other day to set up traps. He made me feel like he took my concerns seriously.
Every wildlife job starts with a free inspection and a price before any work begins. We also handle skunks, beavers and other nuisance animals.
Raccoons use the wooded banks of the Chattahoochee as a path into town. They tip cans and den under decks near the Riverwalk. We set humane traps for them and close off the space under the deck or porch.
The Victorian cottages and bungalows in the Brownville-Summerville district have aging wood trim and attic vents. Bats squeeze through gaps there and roost in colonies. We fit one-way exits, give the colony time to fly out, then seal it.
Raised porches and open crawl space vents on older Girard homes make a dry bed for opossums. We trap the opossum, check for young and screen the vents and porch skirting so the space stays shut.
Homes near Idle Hour Park and Moon Lake sit next to water and mature woods, where rat snakes hunt. We pull snakes out of garages, tool sheds and crawl spaces, then close the openings around doors and pipes.
Ladonia homes sit under tall trees, and flying squirrels glide down from high branches onto the roof. You hear them at night, not in the daytime. We trap the group living in the attic and seal each opening at the eaves.
New yards off US-431 and US-280 start with fresh sod and loose soil, and armadillos dig through both at night hunting grubs. Our traps go on their nightly routes, and the technician flags any burrows near the foundation.
Describe the noise when you call. Scratching in the attic at dawn often means squirrels. A crash at the trash cans at night points to raccoons. We can usually have a technician there today or tomorrow.
Your technician studies the roofline, checks the crawl space vents and looks under porches and decks. In the old Girard neighborhood, that often means worn wood trim with gaps. You hear the price before anything is set.
Traps go where tracks and droppings show the animal moving, and bats get one-way exits instead. Once the attic or crawl space is empty, metal mesh goes over the gaps so river raccoons and opossums stay outside.

Our wildlife technicians cover Phenix City from the riverfront to Ladonia and the Lee County neighborhoods north of town. They work crawl spaces and attics in Russell and Lee counties, so they know how local animals get into a house.
These photos come from our shop and from jobs in the field over the years.

We cover Phenix City and all of Russell County, from Ladonia to the newer homes along US-280 and US-431. Downtown and the neighborhoods near the river are minutes from our trucks.
Raccoons and opossums follow the Chattahoochee and Mill Creek into yards near the Riverwalk and downtown. The older houses in Girard and Brownville-Summerville draw squirrels and bats to their attics. Around Idle Hour Park and Moon Lake, the woods hold snakes and armadillos, and Ladonia's tall trees bring flying squirrels.
The river and its wooded banks give raccoons and opossums an easy route into town. They raid trash cans at night and den under porches and in crawl spaces. Squirrels and bats move into the attics of older homes near downtown.

Yes. Part of Phenix City lies in Lee County, north toward Smiths Station. Those homes get the same service as the Russell County side: a free inspection, a quote before work starts, then humane trapping and sealing.
Shuffling or thumping below the floor after dark often means an opossum or a raccoon in the crawl space. Older homes near downtown can have open or broken vents. We trap the animal, then close the vents with metal mesh.
