Why Us

Why Columbus Picks Jarrod's for Flea & Tick Control

Family and Pet-Safe Products

We use family and pet-safe products in the yard, pet areas and rooms we treat. Your technician tells you how long to keep kids and pets off treated areas.

Free Inspections and Estimates

A licensed technician checks the shady grass, wooded edges, pet areas and the rooms pets use most. The inspection and estimate are free, and you get the price before any work starts.

One-Time Treatments or Ongoing Plans

Choose a one-time treatment or an ongoing plan. If fleas or ticks come back between scheduled visits, so do we, at no extra charge. Every treatment comes with our 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Treat Your Pet and Yard Together

Fleas live on pets as well as in the grass, so treat both at the same time. Ask your vet about a flea and tick product for your dog or cat. After walks near woods or tall grass, check pets and kids for ticks.

Lauren G.Oct 2022

The best pest control company in town! While Knox Pest Control himhawed around about a flea infestation we had, these folks came out, did an actual inspection, assured me the issue would be taken care of, and got the job done in one go! They were also very nice and easy to work with. All Knox did was give excuses and talk down to us.

James notifies me the day before he is coming. I appreciate this courtesy, because it gives me a heads up before I am notified by the cameras that someone is in my yard. He sprays all of the designated areas each time he comes. It must be working, because I have not had any bugs inside of the house.

Robert is our tech at Jarrod’s. He’s always very nice, respectful and knowledgeable. When I see him he always makes sure to ask if we are having any bug issues he needs to address, and if so, he promptly takes care of it. Thankfully out of the 7 years we’ve been using Jarrod’s, we’ve only experienced 2 issues and they were quickly resolved. I highly recommend Jarrod’s as a pest control company as well as our tech, Robert!

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to Your Flea & Tick Control Questions

Here is what Columbus homeowners ask us most.

How much does flea and tick control cost?

It depends on the size of your yard, how bad the problem is and whether the inside needs treatment too. Your technician inspects first and gives you the price before any work starts. You can choose a one-time treatment or a monthly plan.

Are your flea and tick treatments safe for pets?

Yes. We use family and pet-safe products. Your technician will tell you how long kids and pets should stay off treated areas.

How fast can you come out?

We offer same-day and next-day service across Columbus, Phenix City, Auburn and the rest of the Chattahoochee Valley. Call us and we'll give you the first open time.

Should I treat my pet too?

Yes. Fleas live on pets as well as in the yard and home, so treat both at the same time. Ask your vet which flea and tick product is right for your pet.

Why treat the yard and not just the house?

Most fleas and ticks start outside in shady grass, shrubs and wooded edges. Pets and people carry them in. Treating the yard every month cuts down how many make it inside.
