Most people ask what pest control costs before they ask anything else. That makes sense. The honest answer is that it depends on three things: the pest, your home and how often you want us to come.

This guide covers what moves the price, the difference between a one-time treatment and an ongoing plan, what a Jarrod’s plan includes and how to get an exact number for your home. The inspection and estimate are free, so you never pay just to find out.

What Changes the Price of Pest Control?

No two homes cost exactly the same to treat. These are the things your technician looks at before giving you a price.

  • The pest. Ants and spiders are a routine treatment. Bed bugs, termites and German cockroaches take more product, more time and more follow-up visits.
  • The size and layout of your home. A larger home has more square footage and more foundation to treat. Crawl spaces, attics and outbuildings add to the job.
  • How big the problem is. A few roaches in the kitchen is a smaller job than an infestation that has spread to every room.
  • How often you want service. A single visit costs less up front. A plan costs more over the year but keeps pests from coming back.

One-Time Treatment or an Ongoing Plan?

A one-time treatment makes sense when you have one problem with a clear cause, such as a wasp nest by the door or ants that came in after a storm. We treat it and you are done.

An ongoing plan makes sense when pests keep coming back. In the Chattahoochee Valley that is most homes. The warm, humid climate keeps roaches, ants, spiders and mosquitoes active for most of the year.

Most homes do best with quarterly service. Your technician will recommend a schedule based on the pest and how severe the problem is.

What Does a Jarrod’s Plan Include?

Every plan starts with a free inspection. A licensed technician checks your home inside and out, finds the pest and shows you where it gets in.

After that, a plan includes:

  • Treatment with family and pet-safe products, placed where pests live and travel.
  • A schedule your technician sets for your home and your pest.
  • Free call-backs. If pests return between scheduled visits, so do we, at no extra charge.
  • A 100% satisfaction guarantee on every service.

You get the price before any work starts, so there are no surprises on the bill.

Why Are Termites and Wildlife Priced Separately?

Termite treatment and wildlife removal are quoted after an inspection, because every job is different. A termite job depends on the size of the colony and how the house is built. A wildlife job depends on the animal, how it got in and how many entry points need to be sealed.

If you are buying or selling a home, ask about a termite inspection and a termite bond at the same visit. Our guide on what a termite bond covers explains how bonds work.
